Description

The Alfa S is a 7W LED magnetic track downlight built around a cylindrical black aluminium housing that clips onto 48V DC magnetic track rails. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light directed downward through a 53mm aperture, with the recessed lamp positioned inside a bronze-toned reflector cup that controls beam spread and reduces glare.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and commercial accent lighting, the Alfa S pairs task and accent function in a compact 96mm height. The magnetic attachment allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the track without tools — the downlight lifts off and relocates in seconds, giving flexibility to relight a space as displays, artwork or furniture change. The 48V DC low-voltage system requires a compatible magnetic track and driver (sold separately), but eliminates the need for individual mains connections per spotlight.

The black powder-coated aluminium finish absorbs ambient light and keeps the fixture visually recessive when installed in dark ceilings or against black track rails. The 193mm track adapter bracket houses the magnetic connection and allows the cylinder to rotate through 355 degrees and tilt through approximately 90 degrees, so the beam can be aimed precisely at vertical surfaces, angled shelves or horizontal worktops. At 7W the Alfa S provides focused illumination without generating excessive heat, making it suitable for lighting temperature-sensitive displays or confined ceiling voids where heat dissipation matters.

What track system does this fit?

The Alfa S is designed for 48V DC magnetic track systems. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track or three-circuit track rails. The magnetic track and compatible driver are sold separately.

Can the downlight be angled or just pointed straight down?

The cylinder rotates through 355 degrees and tilts through approximately 90 degrees on the magnetic bracket, allowing the beam to be aimed at walls, angled shelves or horizontal surfaces rather than only straight down.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the downlight and is not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 5-year warranty and the LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits the Alfa S to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones where splash water or condensation is present.
