Description

Air is a printed rug that brings a soft summer sky indoors. Across its sky blue ground, drifts of white cloud billow and fade with a painterly softness, shading from white to deeper blue at their edges. The design is digitally printed onto a rug made from 100% polyester. It is a calm, restful design that adds colour to a room without crowding it.

In a living room, the larger sizes sit well under a sofa or a coffee table, and the cloud pattern lifts a plain wooden or neutral floor. A bigger size can also go beneath a bed, while the smaller rug suits a reading corner or the space beside a chair. The runner is made for a hallway or a landing, carrying the sky along a narrow space. We sell Air in five sizes: 76 by 150cm, a 61 by 230cm runner, 120 by 170cm, 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm.

Because it is washable, a spilt drink or a muddy footprint need not spell the end of a pale rug, which makes a light sky blue much easier to live with day to day. Before you choose a size, measure your space and allow a little bare floor around the edges, so the rug frames your furniture rather than vanishing beneath it.
