Description

Air is a modern rug in the Golden Light colourway, printed with soft white clouds drifting across a warm beige ground. The clouds gather in loose, billowing drifts, brighter at their crowns and fading gently into the background, so the whole rug reads like a pale sky at the end of a sunny afternoon. It is digitally printed, which lets the design carry fine shading and subtle tonal changes from cloud to cloud, and it is made entirely from polyester.

With its quiet palette of beige and white, it sits comfortably in a living room with wood floors and neutral furnishings, and it suits anyone who wants a calm, airy design rather than a busy one. We sell it in a choice of sizes. The 76 by 150cm size fits beside a bed or in front of a chair, while the 61 by 230cm runner is made for a hallway or a long landing. For a living room, 120 by 170cm sits well in front of a sofa, and the larger 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm sizes reach under a sofa and armchairs or beneath a double bed in a bedroom.

Our Air rug is washable, which settles the question for a busy household where spills and muddy feet are part of everyday life. Before you choose, measure the space with the furniture in place, so the size you pick frames the room the way you want.
