Description

The Aethera is a 16cm cone lampshade built around a fireproof PVC frame wrapped in dark beige fabric. The tapered cone shape directs light downwards while the fabric diffuses it, softening the edges of the beam. The shade fits standard E27 and E14 lampholders where the shade clips or screws directly onto the fitting.

Designed for table lamps, bedside lamps and small pendant fittings, the 16cm diameter suits compact bases and low-wattage bulbs (typically 40W maximum halogen or equivalent LED). The dark beige fabric provides a warm neutral tone that pairs with timber furniture, cream walls and warm greys without adding strong colour contrast. The shade works in bedrooms, reading corners, side tables and hallway consoles where directed downlight is needed without harsh glare.

The PVC frame holds its shape under heat from the bulb and carries a fireproof rating, meeting safety standards for domestic lampshades. The fabric is stretched taut over the frame to prevent sagging and the seam is positioned at the back of the cone to remain hidden when the shade is viewed from the front.
