The Aethera 4 Light Pendant is the body of a modular ceiling light in white: a round ceiling rose, fine suspension lines and a round central hub with four E27 lamp holders on short arms. It is 31cm across and 230cm high overall, and weighs 1.2KG. It arrives without shades, diffuser discs or bulbs, so on its own it is a fitting, not a finished light: you choose four shades or diffuser discs from the Aethera range, each sold separately, and add four E27 bulbs to complete it. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because the shades are your choice, one body can become quite a different light depending on what you fit to it. Over a dining table it gathers four shades into one cluster, and in a living room it brings four lights to a single ceiling point. The white finish sits quietly against a pale ceiling, so the shades you pick carry the look. If you change your mind later, you change the shades and keep the fitting. It suits anyone who wants the presence of a cluster without fitting four separate pendants.

Each lamp holder takes an E27 bulb of up to 42W, and the fitting runs on 220 to 240V mains with no separate driver needed. It is not dimmable, so plan for an ordinary on and off switch rather than a dimmer. The maker gives an operating range of 0°C to 40°C.
