The Aethera 4 light pendant light fitting is the body of a modular system: a round nickel ceiling rose, slim suspension wires and a white central hub carrying four white cylindrical E27 lamp holders. It is sold without its shades, diffuser discs and bulbs: to make it a working light, add a lampshade or diffuser disc from the Aethera range, sold separately, to each holder, plus four E27 bulbs. The fitting is 31cm across and 230cm in overall height. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: dry indoor rooms only.

It is made for the centre of a dry indoor room: over a dining table, in a living room, in a bedroom or in a generous hallway. Its four lamp holders branch out from one white central hub, so a single ceiling point carries four lights rather than one. Because you choose the shades, the same body can look quite different from one home to the next, and the round nickel ceiling rose keeps the ceiling end tidy and understated. It suits anyone who wants a multi-light pendant without the bulk of a traditional chandelier, and anyone who would rather build a light around their room than accept one ready made.
