The Aethera pendant light fitting is the working body of a modular light: a round ceiling rose, a clear flex and an E27 lamp holder, all in a nickel finish. The lamp holder is 45mm across, and the drop adjusts from 327mm to 2045mm, so you can set the height to suit the room. Please note what arrives in the box: the fitting itself, without a lampshade, a diffuser disc or a bulb. To become a finished light it needs a lampshade or diffuser disc from the Aethera range, sold separately, and an E27 bulb of your choice. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because the drop runs from 327mm to 2045mm, one fitting works in very different rooms. Set it short beneath a low ceiling in a bedroom or on a landing, or let it hang long over a dining table or in a stairwell with height to fill. The nickel finish is a cool, metallic tone that sits comfortably with grey walls, white plaster and brushed steel or chrome details elsewhere in the room. Since the shade is your choice, the same body suits anyone who likes to change the look later: swap the lampshade or diffuser disc and keep the fitting in place. At 0.35KG it is a light piece of hardware.
