Description

The Aegean is an 8-light chandelier built on a hand-forged polished brass frame with eight curved arms radiating from a central cage structure, each topped with a cut glass drip tray and E14 candle bulb holder. The central cage features scrollwork detailing and a lower finial, with cut glass droplets suspended beneath each bulb position. The polished brass finish reflects ambient light and amplifies the sparkle from the glass elements when the fitting is lit.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and formal living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Aegean provides direct upward and outward light from eight individual bulbs (sold separately). The 650mm diameter suits rooms of 15-20 square metres where a single central pendant provides the primary lighting. The chain-suspended fitting allows drop adjustment between 550mm and 1810mm, giving flexibility to position the chandelier 750-900mm above a dining table or at higher elevations in double-height entrance halls.

The hand-forged brass frame gives each Aegean chandelier slight variation in the curve of the arms and the depth of the scrollwork detailing. The polished finish shows fingerprints and will patina over time unless periodically cleaned, developing a warmer tone as the brass oxidises. The cut glass droplets are faceted to catch and refract light when the bulbs are on, creating moving reflections on nearby walls and ceilings. At 460mm height before suspension, the fitting has substantial visual presence without overwhelming smaller dining rooms.
