Description

The Aegean is a five-light chandelier built on a hand-forged scroll frame in polished nickel, with cut glass droplets suspended from each arm and a central twisted finial. Each of the five curved arms holds an E14 candle bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and the polished nickel finish reflects both natural daylight and artificial light back into the room.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Aegean sits at 480mm diameter and adjusts on installation between a 500mm minimum drop and a 975mm maximum drop via the chain suspension. The compact 420mm body height keeps the fitting proportionate to standard residential ceiling heights, while the five-light configuration provides enough upward and downward light to act as both ambient and decorative source over a dining table or in a hallway.

The hand-forged scrolls give each arm a slight variation in curve and proportion, a characteristic of traditional metalwork rather than cast or stamped components. The polished nickel finish presents as a cooler silver tone compared to chrome, sitting between brushed nickel and polished chrome on the reflectivity scale. The cut glass droplets attached to each arm and the central body catch and refract light when the chandelier is lit, adding movement to the light pattern without the weight or visual density of full crystal dressing.

Wipe the metal frame with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but dry immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners and polishes that can dull the finish. The cut glass droplets can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried with lint-free cloth.
