Description

The Aegean is a 3-light chandelier with hand-forged scrollwork in polished nickel, two curved arms extending from a central cage-style frame, and cut-glass droplets suspended beneath each bulb holder. Each arm terminates in an E14 candle fitting with a clear glass drip tray, and the central stem features a decorative twisted barley detail running from the ceiling hook to the central finial drop. The polished nickel finish gives the metalwork a mirror-like reflective quality.

Designed for dining tables, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Aegean sits at the intersection of traditional ironwork and polished contemporary finishes. The overall drop from ceiling to finial is adjustable on installation via the chain length, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or left higher in an entrance hall. The three bulbs (sold separately) provide ambient rather than task lighting, with the glass droplets catching and refracting light across the room.
