Description

The Adastra UX240 is a compact 100V mixer-amplifier with a built-in media player, giving you 240W of output for a public address system in medium-sized areas. It handles both 100V line and low impedance speaker loads down to 2 ohms, switchable via a DIP switch and wired on screw terminals. A Master volume control sets the overall level, while mini Bass and Treble rotary controls manage the EQ.

Music playback comes from the internal media player, with selectable sources for USB mp3, DAB+ or FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0, or a front-mounted 3.5mm Aux input. A combination jack/XLR microphone input includes switchable phantom power and an optional Vox priority function, and a separate Aux line input has its own volume control on the front panel. The rear panel carries connections for a DAB+ or FM antenna (aerial in the UK) plus 24V mute contacts for triggering from a fire panel or emergency evacuation system.

Built on a Class D amplifier with a transformer output, the UX240 keeps its control footprint small and its operation straightforward. Each unit ships with brackets so you can mount two side by side in a 1U 19-inch rack, or flat-mount a single amplifier against a wall or under a counter-top. Use it as a standalone platform or pair it with further amplifiers as part of a wider sound system.

Can the UX240 drive both 100V and low impedance speakers?

Yes. It supports 100V line output and low impedance loads down to 2 ohms, switchable via a DIP switch on the rear panel. Speakers connect on screw terminals marked 100V / 2 Ohms / Com.

What audio sources does the built-in player support?

The internal media player handles USB mp3 playback, DAB+ or FM radio, and Bluetooth 5.0. There is also a front-mounted 3.5mm Aux input and a separate line input on RCA connectors.
