Description
The Adastra UM60 is a 100V line mixer-amplifier built into an ultra compact housing. It combines a class D amplifier with an internal audio player, so you can run a background music and paging system from a single small unit. Alongside the built-in USB, FM and Bluetooth sections, it takes a microphone input on a 6.3mm jack, a line input on RCA, and an aux input on 3.5mm. Each of these has its own front panel volume control, with a master volume governing the overall level.
Output is mono, connected through screw terminals on the rear panel for either a 100V line or an 8 Ohm speaker load. This makes the UM60 suitable for both distributed 100V installations and standard low impedance setups. Bluetooth is version 5.0 with a programmable ID, which helps when several units run in the same building. The amplifier uses a class D design with a transformer output, keeping the unit efficient and cool in use. Line output on RCA lets you feed the signal to another amplifier or recorder if needed.
Power comes from the mains at 170-264Vac via IEC, or from a 24Vdc supply through screw terminals, so it can run on backup power in critical installations. Mute is handled by 24V relay contacts for connection to fire alarm or paging systems. The UM60 is supplied with mounting hardware to fit two units side by side in a single 1U 19 inch rack space. It suits small to medium PA installations where space is tight but a full feature set is still wanted. Rated THD is under 0.4% at 1kHz, with a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz.

Frequently Asked
Can the UM60 drive both 100V and 8 Ohm speakers?
Yes. The rear screw terminals offer 100V line, 8 Ohms and a common connection, so you can wire it for distributed 100V systems or a standard low impedance speaker load.
What audio sources are built in?
It has an internal player covering USB, FM radio and Bluetooth 5.0. You also get a microphone input, an RCA line input and a 3.5mm aux input.
Does it support backup power?
Yes. As well as mains power at 170-264Vac via IEC, it accepts 24Vdc through screw terminals, which lets it run from a backup battery supply.
Can I fit two units in a rack?
Yes. The UM60 is supplied with hardware to mount two units side by side in a single 1U 19 inch rack space.
Is there a way to trigger muting for paging or alarms?
Mute is handled by 24V relay contacts on the rear panel, which can connect to a fire alarm or paging system to override the audio.
What is the Bluetooth range and ID feature?
It uses Bluetooth 5.0 with a programmable ID, which makes it easier to identify and pair the correct unit when several are installed nearby.
