Description

The Adastra UM30 is an ultra compact 100V mixer-amplifier built for small to medium PA installations. It pairs a class D amplifier with a transformer output stage, so you can drive either a 100V line or an 8 Ohm speaker load. Connections are made through screw terminals on the rear panel, and the mono output keeps wiring straightforward for background music and paging jobs.

Audio sources are covered by an internal USB/FM/BT player, giving you a USB input, an FM tuner and a Bluetooth 5.0 wireless receiver in one unit. Bluetooth comes with a programmable ID, which helps when you have more than one amp in the same building and want to keep pairing tidy. On the input side there is a microphone input on 6.3mm jack, a line input on twin RCA (phono) and a 3.5mm aux input. Each section has its own front panel volume control, with a master volume over the top, so setting levels for a room is quick.

Housed in a small chassis, the UM30 ships with hardware for mounting two units side by side in a 1U 19 inch rack space. It runs from 170-264Vac mains via IEC or from 24Vdc through screw terminals, with 24V relay contacts for mute. THD sits below 0.4% at 1kHz and frequency response runs from 100Hz to 18kHz. Line output is provided on twin RCA (mono) for feeding another amplifier or a recorder. For shops, offices and similar spaces it offers a lot in a small footprint.

Can the UM30 drive both 100V and low impedance speakers?

Yes. The rear screw terminals give you a 100V line output and an 8 Ohm output, so you can use it with either 100V line speakers or a standard low impedance speaker load.

What audio sources are built in?

There is an internal player covering USB, FM radio and Bluetooth 5.0. Each is fed through the front panel volume controls alongside the mic, line and aux inputs.
