Description
The Adastra UA120 is a compact 100V mixer-amplifier built into a half-width 1U housing, designed for small to medium PA installations. It combines a five-input mixer with amplification in a single unit, so you can handle microphones, background music and announcements from one place. The Class D amplifier with transformer output gives you a mono output that runs at either 100V line or 8 ohms speaker load, connected through a removable screw terminal connector on the rear panel.
You get three switchable mic/line inputs, an RCA line input and a 3.5mm Aux input, each with its own front panel volume control alongside a Master output control. Channel one offers switchable +20V phantom power for condenser microphones, available at either the XLR or the rear terminals. A global 2-band EQ lets you shape the overall sound. There are 24V fire alarm mute contacts on the rear, which is useful where the amplifier needs to work alongside an emergency system that takes priority over normal audio.
The UA120 ships with rack-mounting hardware that can be set up two ways. You can fit a single unit against a wall or under a worktop, or mount two units side by side in a standard 19-inch rack. Input sensitivity runs at -10dB for line and -45dB for mic, with THD below 0.4% at 1kHz and a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz. It sits within the wider UA Series, so if you need more power the 120W and 240W siblings share the same layout and controls.

Frequently Asked
How many inputs does the UA120 have?
It has five input channels: three switchable mic/line inputs, one RCA line input and one 3.5mm Aux input. Each has its own front panel volume control, with a Master output control governing the overall level.
Can it drive both 100V line and low impedance speakers?
Yes. The mono output works with either a 100V line system or an 8 ohms speaker load, connected via the removable screw terminal (Euroblock) connector on the rear panel.
Does the UA120 provide phantom power?
Channel one offers switchable +20V phantom power, available at either the XLR input or the rear terminals, so you can run a condenser microphone where needed.
What are the fire alarm mute contacts for?
The 24V relay mute contacts let the amplifier mute automatically when triggered by a fire alarm or emergency system, so priority announcements take over from normal audio.
Can I rack-mount the UA120?
Yes. It comes with hardware that mounts two units side by side in a 19-inch rack, or lets you fit a single unit against a wall or under a worktop.
Is EQ control included?
A global 2-band EQ is fitted on the 120W and 240W models, letting you adjust the overall tone across all channels.
