Description

The Adastra SL6 is a pair of slimline ceiling speakers built for full range sound without taking over the room. Each speaker uses a hi-flex 6.5" main driver for full range output with extended low frequency response, paired with a mylar tweeter for accurate high frequency reproduction. A 2-way crossover network splits the signal between the two so both the low and high end stay clear at normal listening levels.

Fitting is quick thanks to the three 'dog-ear' mounts, which clamp the speaker into the ceiling once you have cut the hole. Gold-plated spring terminals make wiring simple and hold the cable firmly. The flared baffle helps spread the sound across a wide 160 degree dispersion angle, so you get even coverage rather than one narrow sweet spot. At 8 ohms impedance, the SL6 works with most standard amplifiers and receivers.

The profile sits close to the ceiling for a discreet finish, which suits kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and small commercial spaces where you want the speakers (US: speakers) to stay out of sight.
