Description
The Adastra RS360 is a 100V line slave amplifier built for medium to large installations. It takes standard line level audio from a mixer or from an RM series mixer amplifier, so you can add power to a system without changing your source equipment. As a Class-D design, it stays efficient and lightweight while delivering its rated output, and it fits a standard 19" rack for tidy, permanent installs.
Connections are flexible. Line level inputs arrive on RCA sockets (phono to some) or on removable screw terminals, also called Euroblock, so you can plug in quickly or hard-wire for a fixed system. A separate 100V input on a screw terminal lets the RS360 extend an existing 100V installation by connecting straight to the speaker feed, including long-distance runs over standard double-insulated cable. Slave outputs can be cascaded onto further RS slaves, so you build larger systems one unit at a time. A 24V mute contact connects to a security or alarm panel to silence the output during an alert.
Speaker outputs run at 100V line or low impedance, stable down to 2 Ohms, which means you can connect multiple low impedance speakers if you prefer that approach. Master volume gives you level control on the front, and total harmonic distortion stays below 1.0%. Frequency response is 90Hz to 20kHz on 100V and 17Hz to 90kHz at 2 Ohms. The amplifier runs from a 175-264Vac 50Hz IEC supply. It is a straightforward way to power a new install from a mixer output or to expand an existing 100V setup.

Frequently Asked
What power output does the RS360 provide?
The RS360 is the 360W model in the RS slave amplifier range. It sits in a 2U 19" rack housing alongside the 480W version, with 120W and 240W models available in 1U.
Can I use it with existing 100V speakers?
Yes. The 100V input on a screw terminal lets you connect directly to an existing 100V speaker feed, including long-distance runs using standard double-insulated cable.
What inputs are available?
Line level audio comes in on RCA sockets or removable screw terminals (Euroblock). A separate screw terminal handles the 100V signal input.
Does it support low impedance speakers?
Speaker outputs are switchable between 100V line and low impedance. Low impedance is stable down to 2 Ohms, so you can connect multiple speakers if preferred.
How does alarm muting work?
A 24V terminal connects to a security or alert panel. When triggered, it mutes the amplifier output so alarm announcements come through clearly.
Can I combine several units?
Yes. Slave outputs cascade onto further RS slaves, letting you build larger systems by adding units as your requirements grow.
