Description

The Adastra RMC240D is a 100V line mixer-amplifier with a built-in multi-format media player, rated at 240W. It offers five input channels, including a balanced XLR microphone input with switchable phantom power and Vox override, two mic/line jack inputs and two RCA line inputs. The class AB amplifier section is paired with a digital switch-mode power supply and a 100V transformer, giving reliable power delivery from an energy efficient design. Output can drive either 100V line speakers or low impedance loads from 4 to 16 Ohms.

On the media side, a slot-feed CD player sits alongside a USB/SD mp3 player and an integral DAB+ and FM radio tuner. A Bluetooth 5.0 receiver lets you pair a smartphone for wireless playback of stored tracks. Bass and treble EQ plus master volume control the overall sound, with the phantom power set at +20V on the MIC 1 input. This makes it a practical single-box option for background music and paging in shops, offices and other commercial spaces.

The unit measures 433 x 320 x 89mm and is supplied with 19" rack-mount ears (US: rack-mount brackets) for standard installation. It runs from a 170-264Vac mains supply and includes a 24Vdc backup input via screw terminals, so it can stay running during a power cut when linked to a battery. An optional remote control is available separately. With five channels and multiple source options in one chassis, the RMC240D covers most everyday commercial sound needs without extra kit.
