Description

The Adastra RMC-2150 is a multi-format playback amplifier for anyone who needs to play music from a variety of recorded media. It brings together a slot-feed CD player, a USB audio player, a DAB+/FM radio tuner and a Bluetooth receiver, so you have a broad set of source options built into one unit. That mix of formats makes it a practical choice where you want to switch easily between recorded music and live broadcast without adding extra boxes to the rack.

Power comes from an internal Class-D amplifier section rated at 2 x 150W into 4 Ohms, or 2 x 80W into 8 Ohms, feeding a pair of SPK sockets for straightforward speaker connection. The front panel gives you level controls for a range of microphone and line inputs, so voiceovers, announcements and external audio sources can be mixed into the outputs. Mic/line inputs accept both XLR and jack, with an aux input on RCA (phono) and 24V mute terminals for paging systems.

The main output is set by a master volume control alongside bass and treble EQ. A line-level mix output is provided on RCA connectors, together with separate REC and player outputs for recording or feeding another zone. At 435 x 280 x 44mm it fits a standard 19-inch rack (rack ears aside) and weighs 4.29kg. It suits installations in fitness suites, café bars and leisure venues, and works just as well racked with other equipment in a mobile setup. The universal 100-240Vac supply connects via IEC.
