Description
The Adastra RM60D is a 5-channel mixer-amplifier built for commercial sound installations. It powers 100V line speakers or standard low-impedance speakers down to a 4 Ohm load, so it suits shops, bars, offices and similar spaces where you need reliable background music and announcements. The unit is 2U and 19" rack mountable, with rack ears supplied. Power comes from 230Vac mains or a 24Vdc supply, giving you a backup option where continuity matters.
Inputs cover most sources you are likely to connect. There is a balanced XLR mic input with switchable +20V phantom power, two mic/line jacks, and two RCA line inputs, plus one RCA line output. Built-in audio sources include a DAB+/FM radio tuner, front-mounted USB and SD ports, and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, all handled through an integrated media player. The Bluetooth receiver has a unique serial ID, which helps avoid pairing confusion when several units sit close together. A switchable VOX voiceover feature lowers the music automatically when a signal is detected on mic input 1.
Outputs are on screw terminals, with four switchable 100V zones and one non-switched output for priority alert speakers that always stay live. An optional 4-16 Ohm output covers low-impedance setups. Tone controls give bass at 100Hz and treble at 10kHz, each ±10dB, alongside master volume and channel level controls. Rear panel 24V emergency mute contacts drop all inputs except mic 1 when triggered, which is useful for fire alarm or evacuation messaging. Total harmonic distortion (THD) sits below 1.0%. This is a practical, well-featured amplifier for zoned commercial audio.

Frequently Asked
Can the RM60D drive both 100V and low-impedance speakers?
Yes. It has four switchable 100V zones plus a non-switched 100V output, and an optional 4-16 Ohm output for standard low-impedance speakers down to a 4 Ohm load.
How does the voiceover feature work?
The switchable VOX function automatically lowers the background music volume when a signal is detected on mic input 1, so announcements come through clearly.
What audio sources are built in?
The RM60D includes a DAB+/FM radio tuner, front-mounted USB and SD ports, and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, all controlled through the integrated media player.
Does it support emergency muting?
Yes. Rear panel 24V emergency contacts mute all inputs except mic 1 when triggered, which suits evacuation or priority messaging.
How is it powered?
It runs from 230Vac mains (170-264Vac, 50Hz IEC) or a 24Vdc supply via screw terminals, giving you a backup power option.
Is it rack mountable?
Yes. It is a 2U 19" rack mountable unit and the rack ears are supplied.
