Description
The Adastra RM244V is a 240W 100V mixer-amplifier built for four-zone public address work. It takes three mic/line inputs on jack or XLR, plus one aux input on RCA, and channel 1 has a variable mute for priority override. Switchable +20V phantom power is available on inputs 1 to 3, so condenser microphones can run without a separate supply. The 240W of output is shared across four 100V zones, each with its own rotary volume control and mute on the front panel, giving you separate control of different areas without the cost of a quad amplifier.
Paging is handled through two RJ45 inputs on the rear for optional CS4 call stations (953.146UK), letting you send announcements to individual zones or all of them at once. A send and return loop (pre out, amp in on RCA) lets you route the signal through external audio processors or amplifiers, so the RM244V can act as the front end to a larger system. For life-safety installs, 24V screw-terminal contacts connect to a fire alarm panel for emergency evacuation. Bass and treble EQ are set at 100Hz and 10kHz, both ±10dB, with THD+N under 2% at rated power.
The built-in media section covers most background music needs, with a USB/SD player, an FM tuner and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver that carries a programmable ID. Protection circuits guard against short circuit, overload and overheating, and the unit runs on 110 or 230Vac via an IEC inlet. It ships with 19-inch rack-mount ears and fits a 2U space. Speaker outputs use a modular terminal block for the four 100V lines, which keeps wiring tidy across zones.

Frequently Asked
How many zones can the RM244V drive?
Four. The 240W output is shared across four 100V zones, each with its own rotary volume control and mute on the front panel.
Does it support paging?
Yes. Two RJ45 inputs on the rear accept optional CS4 call stations (953.146UK) for paging to individual zones or all zones together.
Can it connect to a fire alarm system?
Yes. There are 24V screw-terminal contacts that connect to a fire alarm panel for emergency evacuation announcements.
What audio sources are built in?
A USB/SD player, an FM tuner and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with a programmable ID.
Does it offer phantom power for condenser mics?
Yes. Switchable +20V phantom power is available on inputs 1 to 3.
How much rack space does it need?
It fits a 2U rack space and comes supplied with 19-inch rack-mount ears.
