Description
The Adastra RM120D is a 5-channel mixer-amplifier built for commercial sound installations. It powers 100V line speakers or standard low-impedance speakers down to a 4 Ohm load, so it suits a wide range of setups from shops and cafes to larger multi-zone jobs. The unit fits a 2U 19-inch rack and comes with rack ears supplied, keeping it neat in an equipment cabinet.
Inputs cover most sources you are likely to connect. There is an XLR mic input with switchable +20V phantom power, two mic/line jack inputs, two RCA line inputs, and one RCA line output. On board you get a DAB+/FM radio tuner (aerial/antenna connection required), front-mounted USB and SD ports, and Bluetooth 5.0, all handled through an integrated media player for straightforward playback. A switchable VOX voiceover feature lowers the background music automatically when a signal is detected on mic input 1, which is handy for announcements over music.
Outputs run on screw terminals via four switchable zones plus a separate always-on output for priority alert speakers. Rear panel 24V emergency mute contacts silence everything except mic input 1 when triggered, useful for evacuation and paging systems. The RM120D runs on 230Vac mains or a 24Vdc supply, so it can stay working during a mains failure when connected to backup power. Tone controls give bass and treble adjustment alongside master volume and per-channel level controls.

Frequently Asked
Can it drive both 100V and low-impedance speakers?
Yes. The speaker outputs support 100V line speakers or standard 4-16 Ohm loads, so you can match it to your existing setup.
How many speaker zones does it have?
There are four switchable 100V outputs plus one non-switched output that stays on for priority alert speakers.
Does it have a battery backup option?
It accepts 24Vdc via screw terminals as well as 230Vac mains, so you can connect a backup supply to keep it running during a mains failure.
What music sources are built in?
A DAB+/FM tuner, a USB/SD media player, and a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, all controlled through the integrated media player.
What is the VOX voiceover feature?
When a signal is detected on mic input 1, the amplifier automatically lowers the background music so announcements are heard clearly.
Is it rack mountable?
Yes. It fits a standard 2U 19-inch rack and rack ears are supplied.
