Description

The Adastra RC6U600 is a 6U rack cabinet built for 19" rack-mount equipment, with a 600mm mounting depth that suits most professional installs. It arrives ready to assemble, with adjustable front and rear rack strips mounted to internal rails so you can set the mounting depth to fit units with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier gear. The cabinet works either wall-mounted or free-standing, and top and bottom knock-outs give you clear routes to feed cables in and out.

Construction is 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength, finished in hard-wearing epoxy powder coat in RAL9004. The front door is removable and holds a pane of 5mm tempered glass within folded steel edge panels, and it can be set to open to the left or right. A lock and two keys are supplied so you can keep equipment secure. Clip-in side panels come away easily when you need access to cabling or the back of your kit.

The top panel is vented to help with cooling and includes a cut-out for a fan if your equipment runs warm. Maximum static load is 100kg total, so the cabinet handles a decent amount of hardware. It meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards, so it fits standard 19" gear. The rear panel has fixing apertures for wall mounting. Adastra offers the range in two depths and several rack heights, so you can match the size to your setup.
