Description

The Adastra RC6U450 is a 6U rack cabinet with a 450mm mounting depth, built for 19" rack-mount equipment. It is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, finished in an epoxy powder coat in RAL9004 black. Front and rear rack strips are supplied and fitted to internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units.

The front door is removable and holds a pane of 5mm tempered glass with folded steel edge panels, and it can be set to open from the left or right. A lock and two keys are supplied for secure access. The side panels clip in for quick removal when you need to reach the sides of your gear, and the top panel is vented for cooling with a cut-out ready for a fan if you want one. Top and bottom knock-outs give you tidy routes for cable feeds.

You can wall mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures in the rear panel, or use it free-standing. Maximum static load is 100kg total across the unit. The cabinet meets ANSI/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 and ETSI standards, so it fits standard 19" equipment. It ships flat and is straightforward to assemble. The range is available in two depths and several rack heights, so you can match the size to your install.
