Description
The Adastra RC4U450 is a 4U rack cabinet with 450mm mounting depth, built for 19" rack-mount equipment. It's made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength, and finished in epoxy powder coating in RAL9004. Front and rear rack strips are supplied and mounted on internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units. The static load rating is 100kg total.
Access is straightforward. The side panels clip in and out for quick reach, and the front door is removable with a pane of 5mm tempered glass set within folded steel edge panels. You can set the door to open from the left or right, and it comes with a lock and two keys. The top panel is vented for cooling and has a cut-out for a fan if you need one, while top and bottom knock-outs give you routes for cable feeds.
You can wall-mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or use it free-standing. The build meets ANSI/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards. It's easy to assemble and comes as part of a range available in two depths and several rack heights, so you can pick the size that fits your install. This 4U version measures 600mm wide with 450mm mounting depth.
