Description

The Adastra RC28U600 is a 28U rack cabinet built for 19" rack-mount equipment, with a 600mm depth that suits shallower installs where space is tight. It's made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength, finished in epoxy powder coated RAL9004. The front door holds a 5mm tempered glass pane flanked by folded steel edge panels, and it can be set to open from either the left or right. A lock and two keys are supplied, so kit stays secure.

Front and rear rack strips are mounted to rails inside the cabinet, and you can adjust the mounting depth to take equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units. The clip-in side panels are removable for easy access during cabling and maintenance. The top panel is vented for cooling and includes a cut-out so you can add a cooling fan if you need one, while top and bottom knock-outs give you routes for cable feeds.

The cabinet can be wall mounted using the fixing apertures in the rear panel, or left free-standing, so it works in a wall cabinet role or as a floor unit. Maximum static load is 100kg total across the cabinet. It complies with ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards, so it's a good fit for professional rack installations. The RC28U600 is one of a range available in two depths and various rack heights, giving you options to match the amount of gear you're housing.
