Description

The Adastra RC28U450 is a 28U rack cabinet built for 19" rack-mount equipment, with a mounting depth of 450mm. It is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, finished in epoxy powder coated RAL9004. The front and rear rack strips are supplied and fitted to internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units.

The front door is removable and has a 5mm tempered glass pane set within folded steel edge panels. You can set it to open to the left or right, and it locks shut with two keys included. The side panels clip in for easy access when you need to reach the internals, and the vented top panel helps with cooling. There is also a cut-out on the top for fitting a cooling fan if you need one. Top and bottom knock-outs let you feed cables in and out neatly.

You can wall mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or stand it free on the floor. The static load rating is 100kg total, and the cabinet measures 600mm wide. It meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards. Assembly is straightforward, and the range is offered in two depths and several rack heights so you can pick the size that fits your install. This is secure, well-built containment for professional rack setups.
