Description
The Adastra RC15U600 is a 19" rack cabinet (rack enclosure) built for professional rack-mount equipment. It offers 15U of mounting space and measures 600mm deep, with adjustable front and rear rack strips so you can set the mounting depth to suit units with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier gear. The frame is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, and it carries a static load of up to 100kg in total.
Access is straightforward thanks to clip-in side panels that lift away when you need to reach the sides. The front door holds a 5mm tempered glass pane flanked by folded steel edge panels, and it is removable and reversible so it can open to the left or the right. A lock and two keys are supplied for security. The top panel is vented for cooling and includes a cut-out for a cooling fan if you need one, while top and bottom knock-outs give you tidy routes for cable feeds.
You can wall mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or leave it free-standing. The finish is epoxy powder coated in RAL9004, and the cabinet meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards. Assembly is simple, and this model is one of a range available in two depths and various rack heights, so you can match the size to your install. Width is 600mm across the enclosure.
