Description

The Adastra RC12U600 is a 12U rack cabinet built for 19" rack-mount equipment, with a mounting width of 600mm and a depth of 600mm. It is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, so it holds its shape under load and stays square during installation. The finish is an epoxy powder coat in RAL9004, giving a hard-wearing matt black surface. Static load capacity is 100kg total, which covers most amplifiers, switches and patch panels you are likely to fit.

Front and rear rack strips are supplied and mounted to internal rails, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units. The front door is removable and fitted with a pane of 5mm tempered glass flanked by folded steel edge panels. It can be set to open to the left or right, and comes with a lock and two keys. Clip-in side panels give quick access to the sides, and the top and bottom panels have knock-outs for cable feeds. The top panel is vented for cooling and has a cut-out for adding a cooling fan if you need one.

You can wall-mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or stand it free on the floor, so it works in both fixed installs and equipment rooms. The RC12U600 meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1, DIN41491 Part 7 and ETSI standards, so it takes standard 19" gear without fuss. It is available in two depths and several rack heights, letting you match the cabinet to the job rather than the other way round.
