Description
The Adastra RC12U450 is a 19" rack cabinet with 12U of mounting space and a 450mm depth, built to hold professional rack-mount equipment securely. It is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, and finished in epoxy powder coat to RAL9004. The front door carries a pane of 5mm tempered glass flanked by folded steel edge panels, and it can be set to open from either the left or right. The door locks and comes with two keys, so you can keep your gear contained and out of reach.
Front and rear rack strips are supplied and mount to internal rails, letting you adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units. The top panel is vented for cooling and includes a cut-out for a cooling fan if you need one. Both top and bottom have knock-outs for cable feeds, and the clip-in side panels come off easily for access during installation and maintenance. Static load is rated at 100kg total.
You can wall mount the cabinet using the fixing apertures on the rear panel, or stand it free on the floor. The cabinet measures 600mm wide and is straightforward to assemble. It meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards, so it fits standard 19" hardware. This model is part of a range available in two depths and several rack heights, so you can match the cabinet to your equipment and the space you have.
