Description

The Adastra RC12U300 is a wall-mounting rack cabinet built for 19" equipment in light duty applications. Made from 1.2mm cold-rolled powder-coated steel with a tempered glass front door, it gives you 12U of rack space in a shallow footprint. The rear panels have keyhole punch-outs for wall mounting, and there are knock-out apertures top and bottom for cable entry so you can route leads neatly whichever way suits your setup.

Front and rear rack rails let you secure equipment or shelves, and the rack-mounting hardware is supplied so you can fit gear straight away. You get a choice of two mounting positions for the front rails. The rear position takes a mounting depth of up to 280mm, while the forward position gives a shallower 220mm depth with room for protruding connectors in front. The lockable glass front door (US: glass front door) can be hinged on either side, which helps when wall space is tight.

This is a low profile answer for shallower rack equipment such as patch panels, wireless microphone receivers, mixers and smaller amplifiers. The cabinet measures 550mm wide by 300mm deep and handles a static load of up to 30kg. The mounting depth is 200mm, or 255mm from front rail to wall, so check your equipment against these figures before ordering. With the glass door fitted with a lock, your kit stays secure while remaining easy to see and access.
