Description

The Adastra RACK-IT-2U is a simple way to fix rack-mount equipment vertically against a wall or under a counter-top. It skips the extra cost and bulk of a full rack cabinet, letting you mount individual rack-mountable units where you need them. The brackets come as a pair, one for each side, so an appliance can be suspended by its own rack-ears. To fit them, measure 485mm between the outer edge of each bracket and fix them at level height to a wall or upright surface.

Made from 2mm steel plate, each bracket is supplied with 4 screws and wall plugs for fixing to the wall, plus M6 screws and nuts for mounting the rack equipment to each side. For deeper or heavier equipment, add a second pair of RACK-ITs to support the rear. That setup allows installation under a counter top or work surface while still holding the unit securely in place.

This is a cost-effective approach that saves space and cuts down installation time compared with a cabinet. All controls and connections stay accessible once the equipment is mounted, which makes it a practical choice for single units or small setups where a full rack is more than you need.
