Description

The Adastra L10 is a compact, lightweight megaphone with a built-in 10W amplifier. In ideal conditions it can project sound up to 600m, so it suits crowd control, events, sports days and site work where you need to be heard over background noise. Despite the output, it stays small and easy to hold, so you can use it one-handed for extended periods.

We've fitted a good quality built-in microphone and a comfortable pistol grip handle. A rotary volume control lets you set the level to match the space, and a switch changes between voice and siren so you can grab attention quickly before speaking. A short carrying strap is included, which keeps the megaphone (sometimes called a loudhailer or bullhorn in the US) to hand when you're on the move.

Power comes from 6 x AA batteries giving 9Vdc, which are not supplied. The unit measures 250 x 195 x 155mm and weighs 540g without batteries, so it's light enough to carry around a venue or worksite all day. It's a straightforward choice when you want reliable range and clear speech from a simple, no-fuss design.
