Description

The Adastra L01R is a compact megaphone built for portability, with a folding handle and wrist strap that make it easy to carry and store. Announcements are picked up by the integral rear microphone and amplified up to 10W of output, giving you clear sound projection across a range of up to 200 metres. At 220mm long and 140mm in diameter, it fits comfortably in one hand and stows away when not in use.

The standout feature is the built-in looper, which records and plays back up to 15 seconds of audio. This lets you set an automated announcement running so you can repeat the same message without holding the microphone down. A sliding volume control sits within easy reach, so you can adjust levels on the fly. It suits event marshals, tour guides, sports coaches and anyone who needs to be heard clearly over a crowd.

Power comes from four C-cell batteries running at 6Vdc, which are not supplied. Without batteries fitted the unit weighs 450g, so it stays light enough for extended use. The folding handle keeps the overall footprint small for transport, making this a practical choice where space is limited. Note that in some regions a megaphone is also known as a bullhorn, though the function is the same.
