Description

The Adastra KV8T is a premium 2-way ceiling speaker built for 100V line systems, handling background music and voice announcements across shops, offices, bars and larger venues. It uses an ABS basket and a powder coated steel grille that sits low and frameless, held in place magnetically for a clean finish once installed. Each speaker is supplied individually, so you can buy the exact number your layout needs.

At the heart of the KV8T is a heavy duty glass-aramid main driver paired with a coaxial dome tweeter. The tweeter uses a 25mm (1") ASV diaphragm coupled to a wave guide baffle, which helps spread sound evenly across a 120 degree dispersion angle. This coaxial layout keeps the high and low frequencies aligned, so music stays clear whether you are directly beneath the speaker or off to one side.

Wiring is straightforward on a 100V line. The onboard transformer offers three volume tappings, selected via 4-core cable, letting you set the output level per speaker to balance a run of units. Rated at 40W, the KV8T can also run at 8 Ohm by bypassing the transformer if you prefer a low impedance setup. That flexibility means one speaker suits both distributed 100V installs and smaller standalone amplifier systems.
