Description
The Adastra KV6T is a premium 100V ceiling speaker built for background music and voice systems where you need consistent, reliable sound across a room or a whole building. It runs on 100V line and offers three volume tappings, selected via the 4-core cable, so you can balance levels across multiple speakers on the same run. If you'd rather run it as a standard low-impedance speaker, there's an 8 Ohm option that bypasses the transformer.
At the heart of the KV6T is a heavy-duty glass-aramid main driver paired with a coaxial dome tweeter, coupled to a wave guide baffle to spread sound evenly across the room. The 25mm (1") ASV diaphragm HF driver handles the top end, and the 120° dispersion angle helps keep coverage broad so listeners hear a full sound wherever they're sitting or standing. It's a 2-way design aimed at clear music reproduction rather than just paging.
The cabinet uses an ABS basket with a powder-coated steel grille that sits flush and low profile. The grille is magnetic and frameless, so once the speaker is installed the finish stays clean with no visible fixings. This makes it a tidy fit for shops, offices, bars and other commercial spaces, as well as domestic installs where the ceiling should stay understated. Each KV6T is supplied individually, so you can order the exact quantity your layout needs. The combination of 100V flexibility, an 8 Ohm fallback and a robust driver makes it a practical choice for both new systems and additions to an existing setup.

Frequently Asked
Does the KV6T run on 100V or 8 Ohm?
Both. It ships with a 100V transformer offering three volume tappings, and you can bypass the transformer to run it as an 8 Ohm speaker if you prefer a low-impedance setup.
What are the volume tappings for?
The three 100V tappings let you set different power levels per speaker on the same line, so you can balance loudness room by room across a single run of 4-core cable.
What power does it handle?
The KV6T is rated at 30W, which is set through the 100V tapping you choose during installation.
How is the grille fitted?
The steel grille is magnetic and frameless, so it clips on flush with no visible screws for a clean ceiling finish.
Are speakers sold in pairs?
No, each KV6T is supplied individually, so you can order the exact number your installation requires.
What sort of coverage does it give?
With a 120° dispersion angle and a wave guide baffle, it spreads sound evenly across a room, suiting both music and voice systems.
