Description

The Adastra KS660 is a 6.5-inch in-wall speaker built to give you good room sound from within a recessed fixture. It pairs a long excursion glass-aramid woofer with a titanium dome tweeter, working through a custom 2-way crossover. The result is a powerful yet balanced output with a deeper bass response than you might expect from a driver this size. Because the frame mounts straight into a wall or ceiling cavity, you use the building itself as the enclosure and avoid bulky cabinets or wall brackets.

High frequency response can be tuned with a switch next to the tweeter, which adds a 3dB boost or cut. Use the boost for extra clarity or the cut for a smoother tone, depending on the room and the material you play. Power handling is rated at 60W RMS and 120W maximum, with an 8 Ohm impedance and sensitivity of 89dB at 1W/1m. The frequency response runs from 45Hz to 20kHz, so you get useful low end alongside clear treble.
