Description

The Adastra IWA2100B is an in-wall stereo amplifier built for background music and public address in small to medium spaces. It fits directly into cavity walls and ceilings, so there's no need for a table-top or cabinet unit taking up room. The minimalist housing keeps things tidy, and the Class-D amplifier design runs cleanly and efficiently with very little heat to worry about. An internal digital switch-mode power section lets you connect straight to the local mains supply, and the amplifier is supplied with a C7 (figure-8) to UK power lead.

You get 2 x 100W of output with a minimum impedance of 4 Ohms per output, giving you flexibility to pair the unit with many different speaker types. Wireless streaming comes via Bluetooth 5.0 with a unique serial ID, so you can play audio from a smartphone or other Bluetooth device, and there's a Bluetooth on/off defeat switch if you want to lock that function down. For wired sources you have a 3.5mm stereo Aux input (also called a 3.5mm minijack) and an optical digital audio input, which makes it easy to integrate into an A-V system.

Onboard master volume control lets you set levels at the amplifier itself, while the 3.5mm stereo Aux output allows you to pass audio on to other equipment. The compact 150g unit is well suited to fixed installs where you want the hardware hidden away. Deploy a single IWA2100B for one room, or use several across a site to build a wide area sound system.
