Description

The Adastra HPC-60T is a high power column speaker built for indoor or outdoor foreground PA duties. The powder-coated extruded aluminium enclosure holds a linear array of neodymium main drivers alongside a single HF tweeter, with reflex porting that gives a full sound and a balanced frequency response. That combination normally needs a larger, more traditional cabinet, so the column format lets you fit a capable speaker into areas where big boxes are not an option.

Each column has a built-in transformer that can be tapped at several power settings for 100V line systems, or switched to low impedance operation. The high power handling makes the HPC-60T a direct replacement for full-size PA speakers, so you keep the output without the bulk. The 25mm (1") compression-driven HF flare works with the neodymium drivers to keep clarity across the range, and the dispersion of 140 degrees lateral by 40 degrees axial spreads sound evenly across a listening area.

Installation is kept neat with the heavy-duty tiltable rear bracket, which is integral to the unit and adjustable so you can aim the column toward your audience. Connection is via Euroblock screw terminals (5.08 x 4P), a tidy option for fixed installs. With an IP55 rating, the HPC-60T can be fitted in sheltered outdoor areas for discreet external public address, or aerial-mounted runs where cables need to be kept out of sight.
