Description

The Adastra HC6U450 is a wall-mounted 6U cabinet built for 19" rack-mount equipment. The whole cabinet is hinged at the rear and locks, so once it is fixed to the wall you can swing it out to reach the back panels of your gear. That gives you clear access to connections and wiring without having to unmount anything. Removable side panels and a lockable front door make day-to-day access straightforward while keeping the installation secure.

It is made from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel with folded edges for strength and stability, finished in RAL9004 epoxy powder coating. The front door carries a pane of 5mm tempered glass flanked by folded steel edge panels, and it can be set to open to the left or right. The door is also removable if you need it out of the way. Both the front door and the hinged rear section come with their own lock and two keys. Top and bottom knock-outs are provided for cable feeds, and the cabinet measures 600mm wide.

Front and rear rack strip is supplied for mounting to the rails inside, so you can adjust the mounting depth to suit equipment with overhanging fittings or to support the rear of heavier units. Total static load is rated at 60kg. The cabinet is easy to assemble and meets ANS/EIA RS-310-D, IEC297-2, DIN41491 Part 1 and Part 7, and ETSI standards. It suits professional AV, networking and audio racks where wall space is at a premium but rear access still matters.
