Description
The Adastra FC4V-W is a compact 100V line background speaker with a 3.5in driver, built for spaces where you want steady, even sound without much fuss. It runs as a 2-way system with a crossover network and a 13mm PEI dome tweeter, so mid and high frequencies stay clear across the 145 degree dispersion angle. A rotary selector switch lets you set the 100V line tappings or run the speaker at 8 ohms, which makes it straightforward to balance levels across a multi-speaker install.
The moulded PP cabinet carries an IP44 rating and UV protection tested to ASTM D4329, so it copes with damp and sunlight over time. That makes it a sensible choice for gardens, outdoor shelters, health club and spa areas, and marine settings. An equalisation switch boosts the higher frequencies when the speaker is used outdoors, helping keep speech and music from sounding flat in open air. The aluminium grille adds a bit of protection at the front without dulling the output.
Fitting is simple. A mounting bracket is included, and there are M6 screw sockets if you prefer to fix by screw instead. Spring terminal connections keep wiring quick to attach and neat behind the unit. The FC4V-W is supplied singly, so you can buy the exact number you need, and it comes in white here, with a black finish also available in the range. It sits well as a low-profile background speaker for both indoor and covered outdoor areas.

Frequently Asked
Can the FC4V-W be used outdoors?
Yes. It has an IP44 rating and UV protection tested to ASTM D4329, so it suits gardens, outdoor shelters and covered areas exposed to damp and sunlight.
Does it run on 100V line or low impedance?
Both. A rotary selector switch sets the 100V line tappings for multi-speaker installs, or you can switch to 8 ohm operation.
Is the speaker sold as a pair or singly?
It is supplied singly, so you can order the exact quantity your install needs.
How is the speaker mounted?
A mounting bracket is included. You can also fix it using the M6 screw sockets if you prefer a direct screw fitting.
What does the equalisation switch do?
It boosts the higher frequencies, which helps keep sound clear when the speaker is used outside in open air.
What size is the driver?
The FC4V-W uses a 3.5in main driver paired with a 13mm PEI dome tweeter in a 2-way system.
