Description
The Adastra DM25 is a 100V line mixer-amplifier built into a compact housing, giving you a single unit to run background music and announcements in a small installation. It puts out 25W in mono, connecting to either a 100V line system or a 4-16 Ohm speaker load through spring terminals on the rear panel. That flexibility means you can wire it into a distributed 100V setup across several ceiling speakers, or drive a couple of low-impedance cabinets directly, depending on what the room needs.
Three audio sources are built in. The onboard player reads USB media (USB 2.0, FAT32, up to 128GB) for digital audio, and the FM tuner (aerial/antenna via a spring terminal) picks up radio stations. In Bluetooth mode you can pair a phone or tablet for wireless playback using Bluetooth V2.1. Please note the USB port is for media playback only and will not charge a smart phone. For live input there is a 6.3mm jack microphone input (unbalanced) plus two RCA line inputs summed to mono, along with a pair of RCA line outputs.
Front-panel controls cover Treble, Bass and source selection between MP3, Aux and Mic, so you can balance the tone and switch quickly during use. The amplifier runs from a 230Vac 50Hz IEC mains supply and is protected by a T1AL 230V fuse. Measuring 280 x 205 x 67mm, it sits neatly on a shelf or in a rack space. It works well as an all-in-one solution for shops, cafes, offices and similar small sound jobs where you want music, radio and mic paging from one box.
