Description

The Adastra CC6V is a 6.5 inch two-way ceiling speaker built for 100V line systems, with an 8 Ohm option should you need it. A rotary selector switch on the front lets you set the power tapping, so you can balance the volume across a run of speakers without touching the amplifier. That makes it a practical choice for shops, offices, cafes and other spaces where you want even background sound or clear paging.

The speaker uses a PP mica bass driver paired with a directional dome tweeter, giving a wide frequency response and a dispersion angle of 160 degrees. The result is speech and music that carries clearly across a room. Everything sits in a white polymer frame with a metal grille, so it blends into most ceilings and holds up well over time.

Fitting is straightforward. The CC6V comes with spring-loaded 'dog-ear' mounts that clamp onto ceiling tiles between 1mm and 20mm thick, so you can drop it into place without extra brackets. Connection is just as simple thanks to the spring-loaded terminals, which take bare cable quickly and hold it securely. If you are wiring up a 100V line (also called a constant-voltage system in the US), you can loop several units together and set each one to the tapping that suits the room.
