Description

This Adastra patch panel gives you 48 RJ45 (8P8C) ports across a 2U rackmount frame, ready for structured networking over CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 cabling. The ports connect to rear mounted IDC (insulation displacement contact) panels, so you terminate your cables directly at the back without needing to fit individual plugs. It fits any standard 19" rack, whether that sits in a comms cupboard, an equipment cabinet or a studio setup.

The 48 sockets are split into removable blocks of 6, which you can take out and work on separately during connection. That makes the terminating job easier to handle and keeps things tidy when you need to add or change a run later. Each block clicks back into place once wired, so the front face stays clean and consistent across all 48 ports.

Cable management bars are supplied with the panel, complete with punched tie-down points and cable ties for a neat, secure install. Routing your cables through these bars keeps the bend radius sensible and stops strain on the terminations at the back. If you need a smaller build, the same range covers 24-port versions, so you can match the panel count to the size of your network.
