Description

The Adastra BM4V-W is a wall-mount background speaker built for general purpose indoor PA and background music systems. It uses a moulded polypropylene cabinet paired with a powder-coated steel grille, so it holds up well in busy commercial rooms while keeping the weight and cost down. Each unit comes with an adjustable steel bracket for fixing to a suitable wall or ceiling surface, giving you room to angle the speaker towards the listening area.

We designed this speaker for flexibility across an installation. It runs on either 100V line or 8 Ohm operation, so you can wire it into a distributed system or connect it directly to a standard amplifier. The 100V version gives you four tappings, letting you set the power draw per speaker and balance levels across a long run of units. Connection is made through 4mm binding posts marked positive and negative, which keeps wiring clear during setup.

Inside, the BM4V-W pairs an efficient driver with a 12mm (0.5 inch) dome tweeter to cover speech and music at background levels. The moulded enclosure and driver components make it a cost-effective choice when you need several matching speakers across a site, such as a shop, bar, office or reception space. The white finish sits quietly against most ceilings and walls, and the bracket mount means you can position each speaker where it works best for even coverage.
