Description

The Adastra BC6V-W is a 100V line background speaker built for indoor commercial spaces. It uses a two-way system with a crossover network, pairing a 6.5" main driver with a tweeter for balanced sound. The main driver has a coated paper cone, which gives full low and mid-range frequencies. That makes it a good fit for both music playback and clear voice announcements across shops, offices, bars and similar venues.

Wiring is straightforward. A rotary selector switch on the speaker lets you set the 100V line tapping you need, or switch to 8 Ohm operation if you prefer a low-impedance setup. Connections are made via spring terminals, so you can add the speaker into a run without extra tools. Each unit is supplied singly, so you can order the exact number your layout calls for.

The enclosure is moulded from ABS with a powder coated steel grille, and the trapezoidal shape means you can tuck it neatly into corners or angle it for directional coverage. An adjustable steel wall mounting bracket is supplied for wall or ceiling surface mounting, and there are alternative M6 threaded mounting points if you are fixing to a bracket of your own. The finish is white, so it sits quietly against most interiors.
