Description

The Adastra BC3-W is a pair of 2-way background speakers built for indoor use in shops, cafes, offices and similar spaces. Each speaker has a 3 inch main driver with a coated paper cone, giving full-sounding low and mid-range frequencies. This makes them a sensible choice for both music playback and clear voice announcements, where you need sound that carries without being harsh.

The enclosures are made from ABS with a powder coated steel grille, so they stand up well to everyday knocks. Each speaker runs at a standard 8 Ohms impedance and the pair is designed for connection from a stereo amplifier, which is why they are supplied two at a time. Please note that connecting leads are not supplied, so you will need to add your own cable to suit the run between the amplifier and each speaker.

Mounting is straightforward. Every speaker comes with an adjustable steel bracket for wall or ceiling surface fitting, and you can angle each one to point sound where it is needed. There are also M6 screw sockets for optional alternative mounting. The BC3-W comes in white, and the same model is available in black if that suits the room better. As an industry standard design, it fits neatly into most small to medium background sound setups.

Are the speakers sold singly or in pairs?

They are supplied in pairs, ready for connection from a stereo amplifier.

Do the speakers come with cable?

No. Connecting leads are not supplied, so you will need to add your own speaker cable to suit the distance between the amplifier and each speaker.

Each speaker has a standard 8 Ohms impedance, which suits most stereo amplifiers.

Can I mount them on a ceiling as well as a wall?

Yes. Each speaker includes an adjustable steel bracket for wall or ceiling surface mounting, plus M6 screw sockets for optional alternative fixing.
