Description
The Adastra A6 is a multi-zone stereo amplifier built for installations that need good stereo sound across several rooms or listening areas. It comes with three independent stereo outputs, each delivering up to 200W at 4 Ohms through rear panel Euroblock terminals. A rotary switch on each zone lets you pick the audio source, choosing between two rear stereo inputs, a front 3.5mm stereo input, or the built-in media player.
Source options are wide. The inbuilt media player handles mp3 playback from a USB drive or SD card, and there's a B/T wireless receiver plus an FM radio tuner with an external aerial (US: antenna) connection via an F type socket. Two microphone inputs stay live to all output zones at all times, which is handy for announcements or paging across the whole system. Input controls cover Aux, Media, Line1, Line2, Mic1, Mic2 and Talkover.
The amplifier uses Class D construction with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz (±0.5dB), a dynamic range of 92dB and THD+N under 0.1%. Protection covers thermal, over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit faults. It runs from a 230Vac 50Hz IEC supply with an F5A 250V fuse. The rack-friendly chassis measures 482 x 300 x 88mm. Line inputs run on 6.3mm jack and RCA connectors, mic inputs on 6.3mm mono jacks, and the aux input on a 3.5mm stereo jack. A four-output version is also available for larger setups.

Frequently Asked
How many zones does the A6 support?
The A6 has three independent stereo outputs, so you can run audio to three separate rooms or listening areas. A four-output version is also available if you need an extra zone.
How much power does each output deliver?
Each output delivers up to 200W at 4 Ohms, connected through the rear panel Euroblock terminals.
What audio sources can I use?
You can play mp3 tracks from USB or SD card via the built-in media player, stream over the B/T wireless receiver, tune in with the FM radio, or use two rear stereo inputs and a front 3.5mm stereo input.
Can I make announcements across all zones?
Yes. The two microphone inputs are live to all output zones at all times, and a Talkover control is included, so paging reaches every area.
How do I connect an FM aerial?
The FM tuner uses an F type connection for an external aerial (US: antenna) on the rear panel.
Does the A6 fit in a rack?
The chassis measures 482 x 300 x 88mm, so it suits standard 19-inch rack mounting.
