Description
The Adastra A2 is a fully featured stereo PA amplifier with a built-in mixer section, made for background music and announcements in bars, restaurants and function rooms. It handles two microphones alongside a stereo audio source, so you can run music and voice through one unit. A rotary switch selects between two rear stereo inputs, a front 3.5mm stereo input or the internal media player, giving you a simple way to move between sources on the fly.
The media player section plays mp3 tracks from a USB drive or SD card, and there's also a Bluetooth receiver and an FM radio tuner with an external aerial (antenna) connection via an F type socket. Front panel controls cover source select, bass, treble and level for both channels, plus individual input controls and a talkover function that lowers music when you speak into a microphone. Output power is 2 x 100W into 8 Ohms and 2 x 200W into 4 Ohms from a Class D design.
Speaker connections on the rear panel use 4mm binding posts across two channels, driving up to two 8 Ohm speakers per channel. Line output is provided on RCA for feeding another zone or a recorder. Protection covers thermal, over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit, and the unit runs from a 230Vac IEC supply. In a standard 1U rack format at 482 x 260 x 88mm and 5.21kg, the A2 gives installers a flexible, self-contained option for fixed PA and music playback where space and simplicity matter.
