Description
The Adastra A14 packs two fully independent stereo zones into a single 1U 19-inch rack unit. Each zone, A and B, runs from its own dedicated 2 x 160W RMS Class-D amplifier at 4 Ohms, so you can play different music at different volumes in separate areas from one box. It's built for commercial venues, hospitality, education, leisure and AV installations where you'd normally need several amplifiers and external players to do the same job.
Every zone has its own source options: USB and microSD MP3 playback, a built-in FM radio tuner, Bluetooth, rear RCA (phono) line inputs and a front-panel 3.5mm input. Two separate Bluetooth receivers let you pair a different device to each area, which suits bars, restaurants, fitness studios, retail spaces and multi-room setups. An Aux 4 link mode feeds both zones from a single player when you want them matched, and a global microphone input is live to both outputs for announcements, paging and general PA use. Control is from the front panel or the supplied IR remote controls.
Rear Euroblock speaker connections take up to two 8 Ohm speakers on each of the four channels, giving output of 2 x 2 x 160W at 4 Ohms or 2 x 2 x 80W at 8 Ohms. It pairs well with low-impedance systems using Adastra BH6 or BH8 speakers. The chassis measures 482 x 285 x 44mm and the rack brackets rotate for flat wall mounting. Power is 230V AC via IEC, and a UK to C13 lead is included. FM reception uses an F-type aerial (antenna) connection. It weighs 2.933kg, so it fits neatly into most rack layouts without adding much load.

Frequently Asked
Can each zone play different audio at the same time?
Yes. Zones A and B are fully independent, each with its own amplifier, source selection and playback control, so you can run different music, volumes and inputs in separate areas.
What power does the A14 deliver?
Each zone has a dedicated 2 x 160W RMS Class-D amplifier at 4 Ohms, or 2 x 80W RMS per channel at 8 Ohms.
How do I connect speakers?
Rear Euroblock connections take up to two 8 Ohm speakers on each of the four channels, suiting dual-zone low-impedance systems.
Can I make announcements to both zones?
Yes. A global microphone input is live to both output zones, so it works for paging, voice announcements and general PA.
What source options does each zone have?
USB and microSD MP3 playback, built-in FM radio, Bluetooth, rear RCA line inputs and a front-panel 3.5mm input. Two separate Bluetooth receivers let you pair a different device to each zone.
Will it fit in a standard rack?
Yes. It's a 1U 19-inch chassis measuring 482 x 285 x 44mm, and the brackets rotate for flat wall mounting.
