Description

Our Adastra rack blanking panels fill the empty spaces in a 19" rack, giving you a clean front and better airflow control. Made from powder coated steel in black, they mount across the standard rack width and cover the gaps left between your active equipment. The finish is matt black, so they sit in line with most rack hardware without drawing the eye.

Blanking panels do more than tidy the look of a rack. By closing off open bays, they help direct cooling air across the gear that needs it rather than letting it escape through the gaps. This is useful in server racks, AV racks and audio installs where a run of amplifiers or processors leaves unused rack units. The 4U size covers four rack units, and the panels come in four sizes so you can match the space you need to fill.

Fitting is straightforward. The panels bolt onto the front rails of any standard 19" rack using the mounting holes along each edge. Steel construction keeps them rigid so they stay flat once fixed, and the powder coating resists scuffs and marks during handling. Whether you call it a rack unit or rack space, the height is measured the same way, and one U equals 1.75 inches. Pick the size that matches your gap and the panel does the rest.
